Mini Bee Photography provides specialist cake smash photography sessions in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The photography sessions include a classic photoshoot, cake smash photoshoot followed by a bubblebath photoshoot.

This is the perfect way to celebrate your child’s first birthday and it is 3 sessions all for 1 price!

The sessions are  designed with your child in mind. Before the session we get to know you and your family and discuss when is the best time of day for your child to have the photoshoot, followed by your styling options and what you would like the set design to look like. We tailor each photoshoot to your liking so that you can have a unique photography sessions. The cake smash photography sessions are based in our large studio in the Newcastle Upon Tyne where you can bring your entire family. The first photoshoot is the classic photo session, this is where any siblings or family members can also be photographed. We will advise you of what outfits to bring so that you match the set design. Then we move onto the cake smash photo session where your child will get messy and have lots of fun eating cake. We then finish off the photoshoot with a bubblebath session so you can take home a clean, happy child who has had lots of fun eating cake and splashing in the bath.

The Classic photoshoot. This session is to ease your child in, we laugh, play and in turn capture those timeless photos. We also advise parents and siblings to join in too if you would like. We usually match the colour scheme to the cake smash so all your images tie in together creating a beautiful collection of photographs – perfect for family gifts.

The messy bit. The colour scheme or theme is chosen by you. We have a selection of props and backdrops available at the studio however, we do tailor our sessions for anything specific. Cake Smashes are very fun and the perfect way to celebrate your child’s first birthday.

Bubblebath Smash

Bubblebath Smash

The fun! This is where we put your child in a small bathtub perfectly suited to fit them and let them splash away until their heart’s content. We fill these sessions with rubber ducks and lots of bubbles. The bath session usually gets a lot of giggles out of the parents and child alike. Don’t forget your spare socks as your feet will get soaked!

FAQ

Do you supply outfits for the cake smash photography session?

We have lots of outfits up to 1 years of age however, we do ask you to bring an outfit for the cake smash session depending on what theme you would prefer. You can use ours if you wish, we will discuss this with you before your photoshoot to work out what will be best. 

Can I get family photos too?

Absolutely. The classic photoshoot at the start is the perfect opportunity for this. We will discuss with you prior on what colours to wear as we will try and match the colour scheme of your cake smash

My child has allergies, will this effect their cake smash photography session?

We have lots of children with allergies and we ask you to let us know if this is the case. You can bring your own cake or source one from one of our suppliers who will coordinate with your requirements.
