About family session

Family Photography sessions are so important. We have the most beautiful countryside in County Durham which is perfect for a more relaxed session in the woods, bluebells or a charming barn. Some prefer a photoshoot on the beach and again, we are very lucky to have the cleanest sands in Newcastle Upon Tyne. If you don’t want to be outdoors you can always use our very spacious studio in County Durham, Newcastle upon Tyne where we have controlled lighting, different backdrops with lots of props and accessories to make your photoshoot special. Wherever you decide, your photoshoot will be suited for your family.

In these family photography sessions we do a range of combinations so we have individual photos, sibling images and timeless family photos with you all together. We talk with you before your photoshoot and go through how you want to look at this session, what to wear, what to bring, different photo combinations, etc. The session is very fun and light hearted, there’s no stress and we promise you’ll have an amazing time whilst making memories and taking those beautiful family photographs.

Outdoor Photoshoot

If you prefer to be outside; for an additional £40 you can have an outdoor photoshoot in the North East and make it more personal with a location that is meaningful to you. Terms and conditions apply.
Studio

The Perfect Setting

Having a studio setting means you don’t have to rely on weather, you can have multiple outfit changes and be photographed under professional controlled lighting which flatters all skin types.

FAQ

Ive never done a family photoshoot before and dont know what to expect

There are two type of sessions, studio and location. From our studio in Newcastle Upon Tyne we offer posed sessions, directed images with controlled lighting and location sessions are more documentary/lifestyle images. We will give direction where needed however, for the most part location sessions are all about capturing the moments. We travel to locations in County Durham, Newcastle and surrounding areas.

Can we have some of the children on their own?

The sessions are bespoke sessions and you can have any combination you would like. This is your photography session and so you decide what will work best for you and your family.

What should I wear?

We do a preparation call with you before your photography session where we discuss your entire photoshoot. One part to this is what to wear and what to bring with you so you are fully prepared before arrival.
