I first met Mindi and Purv at this photoshoot and have subsequently photographed them quite a few times since. They brought baby Amaya to me when she was less than two weeks old. I first spoke with Mindi on the phone to go over her style and colour preference for her baby’s newborn photoshoot. They decided to have pastel colours; mint, creams, lilacs, etc as they wanted pastel girl type colours to match their neutral home.
At the studio in Burnopfield, Newcastle Upon Tyne we chatted for hours as I photographed their baby girl and got on like a house on fire! I asked dad to participate when photographing baby in buckets and baskets to make sure she was ok and not startled. Ironically, she never even noticed she was haven her photos taken as she was so comfortable being wrapped and the photography studio was kept very warm for her too but I do like to have someone keep an eye, just in case.
The photographs came out beautiful and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when they came back to view this gallery.
